bigmike what if I don't eat superclean I eat my maintenance calories (which is 2200) and I burn an extra 700 or so a day? Cause my mom buys the cheap meats and what is on sale and at school I must eat the school lunch and its not exactly the healthiest thing but if I correct high intense workouts would this be fine? It's not like im guzzling down cakes and stuff but there are some high fat meats such as hamburger and hotdogs I eat everyday and some noodles sometimes, is that okay? i dont want to be like eating chicken and protein and tomatoes and watching everything I eat but my caloric intake is a rough deal

The reason that you only need 1800 to 2000 calories per day is that your maintenance level is around 2000 so I like to cut about 200 calories every couple of weeks so I don't over push my body. I have gotten great results from this. 2500 calories would be great for you if you were wanting to build muscle. For your cutting routine calorie intake don't go any lower than 1500 calories or else you will send your body into what is know as a startvation mode.

    I hope this helps

Thanks for the positive posts in the thread - I don't have a six pack yet but it's nice to hear someone say that I have one, or even see that because honestly, I can't see anything.

I did the Dax Moy elimination diet that said the diet would make a person lose 7-10 lbs in a month. Today is Day 30 and I'm just the same, if not a pound heavier (147 last month, 148 a few days ago) then when I started...I just can't explain it. I emailed Dax about it but he hasn't gotten back to me, and it's frustrating not losing the weight like he said I would.

But if people say that I look better, that's an even better sign than scales, I guess? Right? Wrong?
