not so sure about your reasoning behind the protein. Although I am curious as to how much protein you get a day. Also the protein after your workout (within 15 min.) is really critical for glycogen storage and building muscle. I guess though if you say its working for you I cant really knock it.

yea i use it sometimes after workouts but apparently the p90x diet has such a high amount of protein in comparison as it is i dont really need the extra... thats what i was told by my dietician girl. she realld didnt approve of it much at all haha. way off balance apparently. Maybe thats why it burns fat so well. i still take it once in a while tho

A well, i guess protein is fine. Especially if you are having a hard time consuming the recommended amount with normal food. For me, protein is the only supplyment I take. I won't touch the other stuff.

Don't know why you think you need to take this stuff blazer...
Take some vitamins and magnesium along with protein and you will be fine. It's working for most of us. Stick with your workout and train like a beast. You will definitely see results.

I gained like another 3-4kg during the workout now. That might be a bit fat aswell as muscles, but thats still within my personal limit I'll bulk up now, and then start running and cutting as hell again.

Come on guys, I wanna see your six pack abs!

Yo Tk. Glad to see you came back again lol. Man this last week I cut like crazy. It was week 5 of P90X and I started doing doubles. That is a cardio workout in the morning on the days that are resistance days. I lost 5 pounds this week... then came the super bowl yesterday. I don't know about you but for me Super Bowl Sunday and Daytona 500 Sunday are national holidays celebrated with lots of beer and food so I gained all but 2lbs back yesterday. My guess is it will be gone again tomorrow tho.

This past week I changed my eating habits a lot. I alternate what I eat for breakfast based on my training. Resistance/Lifting days I eat eggs, chicken, and green peppers... Cardio days I eat 2 packs of oatmeal for breakfast. For lunch I'm still going with my grilled chicken salad with brocolli, cauliflower, raisins, sunflower seeds complete with 2 tbsp of my own honey mustard creation which has about 70 calories.

I used to eat a protein bar everyday but I cut that out. I now eat a banana, an orange, and an avocado throughout the day. This is healthier, more filling, and I get the potassium I was lacking. No more leg cramps during workouts either.

Anyway, I could see my top abs before super bowl sunday hit and I'm getting the V. After this week I should be in good shape. Plus the gf is coming home this weekend so I'm sure that will be some motivation to eat good and workout this week as well.

Thats what I did yesterday. We were redoing Stage 5 and now stage 3 for one week, coz my friend and me went both ill. We didnt train for 2 weeks and now trying to catch up again. Next week we are going for stage 6 as soon as we are at our previous strength level again.

Good to hear that the vitamins seem to help you blazer. You have to finally stick with one routine though. It's a struggle but totally worth it in the end, trust me. I feel great...and its even getting better.
