The Muscle Building Instructions:
Week 1 to Week 2: 3 sets of 15 reps 30 second rest Week 3 to Week 4: 4 sets of 10 reps 60 second rest Week 5 to Week 6: 5 sets of 5 reps 90 second rest ... this means perform 15 reps rest 30 secs..15 reps...etc. as the reps decrease u need to increase the weight. gl ![]()

It doesn't state it on the link, but aren't these done in supersets?
If so, then you perform exercise 1, then 2, then rest 30 seconds, then back to 1, then 2, then rest for 30 seconds. Etc. If they're not supersets, then rest after each exercise as Alex said.

Remember, the muscle mass you gain will be offset by the decrease in adipose body composition. It usually takes several weeks before you'll see very much in the mirror. Muscle has to be laid down in a complex metabolic process, cell by cell, while fat burning is a bit more straight ahead. In about one week, of course, one's strength will have definitely increased. Two reasons it takes so long to see results is that new muscle tissue has to be laid down, cell by cell and in the first week, muscle volume might even seem to decrease because interstitial fat between muscle fibers has to be gotten rid of and burned off.Free weights used to be thought of as superior for mass gain, but it turns out there is no difference. With free weights, however, more muscles come into play because of the need to stabilize the free weight.Free weights have a nasty habit of more easily hurting you sans a spotter.
